6/30 Little Compton RI fishing and fireworks

A nice night fishing and watching the fireworks in newport from across the river. Beats the heck out of fighting the crowds to see a 15 min show.

Managed two 5 lb blues and one 25" bass. It was pretty slow tonight.

I to was fishing the Sakonnet river and you're right about the fireworks and the fishing (sloow) managed 3 small(16") schoolies and finally hooked one almost 30". The last one I lost while trying to measure- weighed aabout 10#. After losing the bigger one there wasn't any action and the tide was almost low- so this sleep deprived one went home to bed. rel
