Have a business trip to northern cal and taking a day off to fish whatever is biting from salt to fresh. Looking for a no s@#$ guide service on a small private boat up to small 6 pack share . This will be in late October. Any species .guides or specific areas within a couple hours drive of SF airport much appreciated.
Hit the mack the other day and saw 6 inch mackerel in the scum line behind the dredge with no fish under them. Not a lot of activity along the beaches or out front. One big something came completely out of the water and seem to do a half roll behind us about a mile or less from shore. Did not get a good look but must have been a couple hundred lbs anyway.
