<P>I fished off Salem Willows peir today and caught plenty of mackeral. Everyone throwing anything bright or shiny caught mackeral, and it was constant from before high water until well into the afternoon. They were chasing huge schools of bait, so maybe the stripers will be a little more active from now on.</P><P>B=</P>
