Last year I had a lot of fun with the Stripers on Toad flies, so this year I thought it might be good to try some bigger ones
These are ties on 4/0 with a couple of changes. The first was no Bunny Strip to cut down on the weight and the second was instead of using plastic eyes because they always break off. I wanted to make some that would be more durable. I took the Poly wing material and just tied overhand knots in it and them dipped them in paint and covered them in Epoxy.
Just a few photos with different angles.
I think they will work well at night , not sure how they will cast, they may plain and twist the leader up, only time will tell
