I recently bought a LL Bean Stripping Basket, flexible frame with nylon netting material for $20 and for me, this is the real deal. I use 8 and 10 wt. rigs on the Atlantic Coast of Florida and down at Sanibel/Marco in much smaller surf. This basket for the price, fit, light weight works better than anything else I've used. I would give this a try if your not happy with your plastic baskets. Let me know what you think.
