Grass shrimp

Anyone have a simple grass shrimp pattern?

Can i ask why you asked about that design.Dont you think its really a different choice and difficult to get that one.

I've seen some very nice and detailed shrimp patterns, with epoxy, etc. Too complicated. More for the tyer than the fish. I like simple flies to tie.

Grass shrimp are great in the spring for bass out on the North Fork, and anytime for weakies. .

I've used one similar to this with good results when they're on them. This tie plain, simple and effective.

I thought it was a good question, remember the only dumb question is the one you don't ask. I watched the video and thought it quite good. Can't get much simpler than that, I for one learned something.

The one thing I still find interesting about fly tying , is even though I have been tying for well over 50 years is this. When you watch some else tie a fly you think, that was so obvious, why didn't I think of that.
