Camping in WMass this time of year

Any suggestions? Will be in Amherst saturday then fishing deerfield sunday so somewhere between the 2 would be ideal. Seems like the state campgrounds are closed? I assume they don't leave them open so you can just pull up and use those sites even though they're technically closed? Any ideas welcome. Thanks

camped at Country Aire campground in Charlemont. All the Mohawk trail campgrounds out there were closed from the hurricane damage and it seemed all the other state grounds were closed for the season. It worked well and was only 20$ for tent site. Also fished a half day on the Deerfield with Eric from GS outfitting. Great time on the river, got some nice fish on streamers.
