Finally got boat back. Early found fish under birds aboout even with the lighthouse. size low to mid 20's.
later fished around can 6 dragging/jigging a heavy bucktail off the bottom. got a hit or fish on almost every pass. largest was 28". Lost several due to the barbless hooks and the stiff line I was using to get down.

Bob,
What kind of a boat do you have? I will look for you when I am out there. My boat was just repaired (engine) and returned to me as well so I have yet to use it this year. Hopefully in the next day or so I will get the equipment on it and take the plunge (pun intended). I keep my boat at Northside in Sesuit, but I like to fish Barnstable as well as the Brewster Flats. I just started to fish around here (because I moved to Yarmouthport about 2 years ago)and I'm just learning where to find fish. Hope to see you on the water.

Green lund with odd color numbers, golden retriever often seen riding on the bow.
Surface action was slower today.
Still finding fish on the boat.
Ramp attendent said he saw two keepers brought in taken on sand eels. One was the largest striper he had ever seen.

Bob,
I'll look for you. Hope to get my boat ready this weekend. Should have time in the next few weeks to get two or three times a week.
Haven't used bait in a long time since I discoved flies and plastics. Still use top water plugs and metal upon occasion, but mostly sluggo types and flies until my back gets sore or the wind comes up then back to the spinning rod.
My boat is a 17.5 CC Scout with a Yamaha 4 stoke. Name is "Reel EZ". See you out there
