Pocasset

I will be in Pocasset for a weekend soon, and am completely unfamiliar with the territory. Can anyone offer advice on shore fishing spots? I will be arriving in the evening Friday and would like toget out late that night, but will not have any chance to scout the local area, much less read the beach and water. We will be staying in the Wing's Neck area, which apparently has some little beach there. It'd be ideal if I could just walk to local fishing spots. I'll try the canal too, but with the large gathering I'll be attending, my travel opportunities will be limited. Greatly appreciate any advice offered.
p.s. any suggestions on renting a boat or hiring a half-day charter nearby, too?

Send me an email with your location, I should know some walking-distance spots. Unfortunately, once at the marsh on Wings Neck, there is no further public access to shore.
