fishing the toothpick

I"m going to fish the sailsberry side of the merrimack from shore near the toothpick from hi tide to low tide. I normmaly fish the otherway around when i get back i will post a report ,but can any one give me any imput or thoughts on fishing hi to low tide ,and are the bass still hanging around i"m still looking for my fist keeper . I was down at the toothpick 2 weeks ago and cought a half dozen of schoolys my three biggest fish were 25,26,27. I used frozen heriin .................. thanks
