The news just reported that a ruptured sewer line leaked 2.2 million gallons of untreated sewage into Long Island Sound, closing shellfishing beds and swimming areas. The line broke Tuesday at a pump station in the Cos Cob section of town. Anyone on the water know how bad this is and the affected area?
