can anyone tell me what kind of fly fishing i might find in st. lucia , west indies ? if any what flies ?

several years back, my wife and i spent three weeks on st lucia. to put it bluntly, i found zero fishing. there are no flats. the island is volcanic in origin. so, it esentailly rose from he sea so to speak. great diving and snorkeling. atlantic side was rough our entire stay.

ps. watch your equipment on st lucia. crime is rampant. drugs a real problem, and be careful whe going out at night. had it not been for the fact, i'm 6'2' 240 lbs, we would have been in deep trouble one night. castries and soufrierre are not places to be out after dark, unless accompanied by a local "guide."
