FYI:
The Sportsman's Guide is selling NEW side-cutting Manley-type parallel pliers for $10. They had > 700 pairs in stock as of this post. I bought the "used" ones @ $5/pair .. and they sold out in two days. They looked new and were made by Sargent, a famous hand tool company. These sell for > $40 in machinists tool catalogs and they have the groove in the lower jaw for holding/forming wire, plus the parallel jaws, and the side-cutting feature.
The "used" ones I received were nickel-plated in "as new" condidtion. For $10 NEW?? ... you can't beat these! They are item number G99M-33486 - call @ (800) 882-2962. I recommend you request a stock check before you order, as these may go really fast!
