Rhode Island Report Please

Just before Labor Day I spent the day fly fishing from shore. I started on Ocean Drive in Newport then fished a variety of spots in Narraganset and finished at Point Judith. Not a single fish. Has anyone fished these areas with much success yesterday or today? I would be interested in recent reports concerning the Weekapaug area as well. My fishing opportunities are so limited I hate to strike out. In advance, thanks for any information you may have.

There have been a lot of bluefish in Narragansett bay and I hear the traps have pulled some bonito off of Narragansett, but most anglers are not getting them. Bass have been relatively scarce as well. I would go to the cape as that's where it's hot right now. Or fish the river outflows of RI in the evening/night on outgoing tides.
