Spots in Eastern Puerto Rico to fish from shore
Anyone have any recommendations on flyfishing from shore in eastern Puerto Rico. Will be in the Luquillo Beach area and would like to target some fish from shore. I know you can target Bonefish in Culebra, but have heard it has been very very slow. I want to maybe try to target Snook or Jack along the Eastern shores around the Luquillo/Fajardo area while I'm there.
I will be targeting Tarpon on a guided trip, but wish to experiment and check out some of the beaches. Will have son with me and he'll probably just spin fish. Looking for recommended lures for him to use.
