I thought I might pass this along. Offshore Angler has a sale of 7 3/4 long XPS Boss squid (hollow body). A 3 pack is $2.88. Link below. They also have a 36 inch s.s. spreader bar for about $8.00,so I decided to make a couple of mini spreader bars with 9 squid each. With line and crimps, and a stinger hook, the total should be around $20.-$24.
I don't know how they will track thru the water,but it may be worth a shot.I may cut the bar down to 24 inch.They also would make a great daisy chain, or could be run behind a bird rig.
Some one mentioned at the First Light tuna seminar to space the squid, one squid length apart, but I can't remember (anything anymore) how far to space the first squid from the bar.Any help is appreciated. Thanks
