Key West Fishing Report
I have been fishing mostly offshore. Dolphin has been the best bet as well as some Tunas here and there. Water temps are 82-84 offshore.
Some nice Dolphin have been under the weeds in anywhere from 550 to out past the wall. Troll with Ballyhoo and when you find them stop and throw either live baits , jigs or flies. If a weedline ends that is where you will tend to find the biggest fish.
Reef fishing is OK. TheYellowtail bite ws great for a few days and then tapers off and picks up again. Some decent Grouper have hit the docks.ait
Hit the flats today with a friend and no Tarpon to speak of. Caught a bunch of nice Jacks and then loaded up on bait to freeze for Yellowtail fishing.
Attached is a photo of a nice Dolphin we speared this week.
