Question Getting Swimmers to run properly???

This year I'm going to get this right....

Granted, running four swimmers from an 18" boat w/o outriggers is asking for trouble but I must be doing something wrong. How do you get your Rapalas and Yozuris to run at 6-8kts? We were letting out four lines one at a time and they would either bank hard into the prop wash if running them close or flip, foul and splash if we ran them farther back. Tried clipping two lines to the stern tie-downs which helped a little but not much. Last year we found that higher speeds is sometimes what you need to get hits. Are we running the wrong lures or what? 6-6.kts was the best we could do.

Yozuri Hydro Magnums and Rapala CD 14s and 18s

Many thanks,
Sam
