NC Saltwater License
I am planning my 1st trip to NC to chase albies in a couple of weeks. Do I need to purchase a NC saltwater license? I read 2 conflicting items, both from supposedly state websites. One said a license is needed to harvest finfish for personal consumption. Another said a license is needed to fish recreationally. What's the real story if I have no intention of keeping any fish while there?

I called them last year to look into it and yes you need an inshore 'costal' licencese to fish recreationally. It's only $10 for a 10-day out of state - got mine today!
