Cool Still Around

Went out last night but wow was it cold..felt like I was deer hunting..had a nice surpising pick of about a dozen stripers..largest was around 24 inches which was caught under some lights....there was actually a few fish showing on top but this was around 2:30am..fish came to a very large chartruese streamer ...never had to try any other flies..I wouldnt pine for next year just yet guys..will be heading to maine in late november to fish the Kennebec..won't wrap up fishing until turkey day probably

It is good to hear that there are still some around and good to see that you got on them!

Good for you! I went out last night and got the skunk at several locations on the southside.

What are you targeting on the kennebec? Salmon?

catch and release for both Salmon and brook trout hopefully...there's another river thats open year round in the same vicinity that we will be in that has brook trout in it as well...hard to get used to flyfishing with hunter orange on though.
