National Fishing Seminar
Something to do other than the Boat Show this weekend
ESPN fishing show host and outdoor writer George Poveromo is bringing his popular National Seminar Series—now in its 25th year—to Mohegan Sun casino in Connecticut this Saturday (January 7) for a full day of region-specific fishing information, prizes and fun.
Sharing the stage with Poveromo will be BoatingLocal publisher and host Tom Richardson, along with regional fishing experts Capt. John Rainone, Tom Migdalski, Capt. Rick Mola, “Crazy Alberto” Knie, and Capt. Mike Deskin. Special guest appearance will be made by striped bass record-holder Greg Myerson, who landed the new all-tackle world record striper this past August. Myerson will divulge the techniques he used to catch his huge fish.
