Nature Coast Area
Hey all,
I will be fishing in the Crystal river area on Feb. 6th weather permitting. I have booked with a guide and have been tying up some flies for the trip. My guide has been more than helpful and gave me a few patterns to equip myself with. I am reaching out a little further to see what others may suggest. We do not have a definite target species at this time but Black Drum will be the most abundant it seems. Anyone have some suggestions? I have ties up crimps, cathys fleeing crab, deceivers, schminnows and a gotchas. I know I will never use all of the patterns I am tying but I am a fly nut who loves to tie and try new things. I just ask one thing. I will make my own eyes and simple stuff but I really dont want to get into to much artistic epoxy work. Thanks, Mike
