Heading to Avon NC - Cape Hatteras next week
Not a really a fishing vacation. Going with the family, will bring a fly rod and some spinning gear for my 7 year old. I have been poking around on the net and have not found much on shore fishing. For the little guy, advise on catching ANYTHING is good. I was thinking of bringing my 9wt 2-hander, which is ok for just about anything from shallow flats to surf fishing.
Saw some stuff on small drum in oregon inlet, bass on the ocean side. Is anything really running right now?
