tuna spinning rod
Just finished a new 20-50# 7'2" spinning rod I am pretty happy with the handle I tried something new with a surf style rear grip and a butterfly jigging style foregrip with a heavy duty boat style reel seat. I think the surf rear grip is really cool on a big rod super durable and light I used one of those new soft rubber gimbals??? still think I like the anodized aluminum for visual effect but these new gimbals seem to be all the rage. I built this with a big stella or Finnor ofs 9500 in mind
1 piece 7"2" E glass blank with solid tip section
Amtack guides, 7 guides plus top
all guides double wrapped
1.33" crosscut eva fore-grip
Amtack graphite reel seat with aluminum hoods and locking ring
Blueberry under-wraps black over-wraps silver trim rings
double coat of Flex coat epoxy (no color preserver)
I would love to build some more if anybody is interested in some new rods this season I can do any style handle / guide set up for a truly custom rod this one is going on Ebay this week I also built a matching jigging rod 8' for cod jigging but
