Carpin' on the flats

Thanks to this weekend's rain, the flats are flooded and the carp moved onto them. It's prime time!
Note the bread fly into the mouth of the carp that is in the water.

I was out there today, probably pretty close to where you got those fish. I had hopes of getting a few on the fly but my kid had other ideas, CORN. he kept me busy netting, baiting, and snacking so my flyrod action was very limited. I did manage to pick up a decent pike on the fly though.
