Shake Down Cruise Turns to Slam Fest

Took the boat out for the annual shake down cruise with my sons on Sunday. Weather was so nice we decided to just float for a while and have a few drinks. Next thing you know, pogies are flopping with big marks underneath.

Rig up some snags, feed em a lil, throw a few chunks in.......hour and a half later we caught 6 30 to 35 inches. Nice way to start the season!

thats awesome but keep in mind that's the 2004-2005 year class the last good year class and people will be having days like that a lot this year. after they are gone its the 2011 year class. catch and release.

Just glad you didn't mention eating foie gras. That would have been a real no no.
