Worm Hatch #2
Checked 5 locations yesterday before heading to my secret spot somewhat reluctant to take a 15 min walk out to the marsh. 15 min is nothing and
worth all the effort when you hit it. I make a lot of inspections and come up empty most of the time. At one point I saw bass busting for
150 yards. Most were swirling right at the edge of the marsh bank. I got 6
with 2 at 30". As soon as I arrived at 5:30 while I was taking the water
temp @69 I saw a few swirls but no worms. 10 min later I started seeing
worms. Then all hell broke loose with busting fish. Some big fish busting away as well. The worms were short this time at 1-2", last hatch they were longer at 2-4". Started out again with the 6-8wt and once again had to switch to the 8-10wt. All fish C&R with barbless hooks.
