5/12 Bigger by the day (REPORT)

Hit the water today with the Associated Builders Crew in search of some larger fish. We hit all the regular spots that have been holding and it just wasnt what I was looking for. I decided to make a big move and it paid off. We got on several LARGE schools of big fish on the northern march and with an able crew we taught those fish a lesson. Nothing showing on top, so rather than the radar showing the way the Raymarine sounder gave us a look at what was below. RonZ, Hogy's and Spro bucktails did the deed. Well over 50 fish with some SOLID early May fish in the mix. I don't think we had a sub legal fish all day. The bass were gorging on butterfish. The sounder shots really tell the tale better than I can.

I guess life is tough for butter fish. Can't wait to hook p the sounder on the boat. Should be great.

Wait till the new CHIRP sonar goes in the boat!!! Word is its literally 10x better than the existing unit! Im pretty excited for it.

throw some 13" jigging hogys on those fish, that is a serious pile!!

They did hit the rubber both Hogy and RonZ, but the bait is short, flat and deep. Its not the best match for rubber in this case.

It's amazing how well those Spro bucktails work sometimes, with or w/o trailers.
