First few outings

The winter was too long and too cold this year as we all can agree. The last few weeks I have been fishing a local pond a few miles from my house just to get out on the water .I was very happy to pick up a few large mouth bass and some sun fish on the fly rod .The pond is Martins pond in North Reading .The last few weeks I had been fishing this pond on some of the warmer days and I have been catching a good number of fish from bass to crappie to a few white perch and sun fish The good thing about this time of year is no bugs flying around you So if your looking for some fishing action try your local pond you just might catch a real nice fish on your first outing.Tight lines .

Hi @redjeepman thanks for sharing your words with us. Sometime we found some pond & do Fishing with full of perfect mode. As you are were doing. I don't have any issue to say this pond was good as well as lucky for you & you will get more fishing on the same pond !
