Tampa St. Pete Guide or water

Going to have some time to play next week in the Tampa/St. Pete area and was looking for some guide recommendations (fly fishing) and possible DIY spots.
Thanks in advance.

Take a look on Google Earth as there are numerous areas you can explore on foot. Try Weeden Island to the left of the kayak launch; Rest area on both sides of the Skyway Bridge: Fort Desoto Beaches just to name a few. Not many fly fisherman down there as most people are meat fisherman.
