Epic BH

The plan was to launch after lunch hoping the fog would have lifted enough for me to tend my pots and then find some fish feeding in the marsh on bait riding the incoming tide. The water was flat and visibility was excellent. I see some lobster salad in my future. A check of the flats showed minimal activity. On to the marsh. The feed bag was on and there were busting fish over a very large area. Not enough birds to cover all the blitzes. My crease fly is mangled, no eyes no pattern stickers, just a piece of foam with a smidge of a tail, yet still it caught fish. a white bushy type fly was on my rod with the sinking line. It caught even more fish, I could cast it further. When I needed a break, out came the spinning rod with a weighted white sluggo. It also was mangled by the end of the afternoon. My fly rod wrist is sore due to the number of fish I fought. No big ones but constant action. To bad my wife has other plans for me Wednesday.
If at first you do not succeed-sky diving is not the sport for you.
