Got bait?

Drove out Sandy Neck this morning. The water was flat calm, I don't think it could get any calmer. Found some scattered fish working near and far. While later I say lots of Peanut Bunker, this did not look like it was the case and they were a bit picky hitting my offerings. While watching, I saw a HUGE splash way out, Guessing there was a tuna cruising out there. Sa we got closer to high tide, huge schools of peanut bunker were working westward towards the canal. Many of the schools had little to no fish bothering them. You could not drag a lure or fly through them without snagging one or two. The picture shows one school going by which looked like it had a seal following it.

Bait this year has been prevalent where ever I go here on the Cape. Mackerel earlier in the year, peanut bunker and silversides thick in a number of different areas lately. I also saw the big breaks off of Sandy Neck maybe tuna in close. Lot's of bright, fat small stripers in my spots.

Its been a good year.
