Any Albie reports for Cape?

Been awhile since I have been on this forum, probably a couple of years. Glad to see it still exists.
Planning on heading to Cape/MV and hunt for some late season albies. Any insight would be greatly appreciated..

I went out of Falmouth this morning and it was pretty darn slow.

Found some fish here and there but they were very slow moving...almost slurping on the surface. I eventually saw some krill which I'm guessing they were picking away at.

Went past Nobska up to Woods Hole. Found plenty of small blues crashing peanut bunker.

Gonna head out of Buzzards Bay. Never been up there so we'll see how it goes.

Seems for the most part they have moved west. Talked to someone who fished RI earlier this week who did very well.

Good luck!

Unhappy not this weekend

The last two weekends have delivered some great Albie fishing along the Elizabeths, but this weekend is a combo of work and anniversary time, so no fishing I am guessing that the Albies will waive goodby any time now, but we should expect good Striper fishing for a while....right....

tough weekend to fish the cape. First heavy fog, today small craft warnings. Tried north side near the beach to reduce the chop. Bait was blown away from beach and the birds did not need fish to pick the bait out of the chop.
If at first you do not succeed-sky diving is not the sport for you.

My run around Buzzards Bay in the afternoon resulted in no Albie sightings.

In all fairness it was my first time launching there so I very well could have never ventured to traditional spots that hold fish.

Saturday, due the to fog that seems to have plagued me every trip, we went out of Falmouth again since I'm at least feeling more comfortable with the area.

My friend was able to score 2 albies early while blind casting, but that ended up being the final tally for the day on those little green buggers. Did a lot more exploring of the Elizabeths and even buzzed over to Menemsha but didn't see or see anyone hook/fight/land an albie.

We caught a variety of other buddy actually got a Super Slam of sorts consisting of Albies, Black Sea Bass, Blue Fish, and Stripers. I can't recall if a super spam is actually 5 species of fish so we tried like hell to get a sea robin before we were done
