Soft Hits

2018 here on Cape Cod has started well, lots of bass and many are bigger than last year. Last year it seemed the 16 inch fish where everywhere. This year I am getting more 20+ inch fish.

The hits this year seem to be less aggressive, softer than last year. The lighter take has caused me to pay more attention to my line and retrieve. A good thing and just adds to the experience.

I've noticed the bigger size, but the hits have been solid for what I have been fishing.
