boynton beach inlet area on the fly from shore

I'm heading down to the Boynton area for the annual trip to see the in laws. I was looking to bring my fly rod down and poke around from shore. I have not fished this area before, but the inlet area looks fishy. maybe just to the south on an outgoing? anyone fish this area and like to share some thoughts? i've chartered boats in the past out of jupiter, but looking to keep it low key and possibly hit the dawn bite

3/1 thru 3/5. i'm planning on poking around the beaches near the inlet pre dawn to just after dawn

I'm in Jupiter & there's been alot of Lady fish, Bluefish, & some school's of Jack's. You should see similiar fish down there. The big school's of Jack's should start making the appearance.

Bring a stripping basket!

i ended up poking around on the south side of the inlet on the beach side. I fished at dawn for just over an hour for a few days. close to the pier on the outgoing worked out fairly well. I picked up a few jacks and lost a large fish on day one from a fish that chafed the leader... i think the leader was undersized.
overall it worked out well with a few fish.
i was thowing clousers... most successful was a size 2 olive over gray clouser w pearl flash.

btw... i took an old plastic bucket with a bungie cord instead of packing my stripping basket.
