got the blues

Went looking for albies again today and got the blues. There were some birds working when I got there so I paddled out and had one on pretty quick but lost it. Birds were pretty scarce after that for a while; but I finally saw some in the distance so paddled out to where the action was. By the time I got there there were birds and blasts over an area of about a few hundred yards or so. Got close to one of the pods and hooked up and had a frisky fight with a bluefish... And so it went thru the morning, following the action and hooking up. The fish were in the 4-6# range, all on a deadly dick and feeding on little peanuts. At one point while playing a fish, my yak was surrounded by breaking fish and tons of turns. It was pretty cool with the sounds and the sights of the breaking fish and the terns all around me... a beautiful thing!
