Bluefish

Are here. I was out on the flats Thursday morning and found fish in 3-4 feet of water.. the temp was averaging 68 degrees. I would not say they were overly aggressive. Hooked one on a fly and eventually lost it. Caught one on a deadly dick. Most fun was an orange bounder skipped across the surface. Lots of swirls, plug knocked out of the water, misses lost fish. Did eventually land one the plug.

Hi Bob,

Are the blues on the S side or CCB?? I'm guessing S side from the reported water temperature.

We're arriving tomorrow Pm and will be getting out after 'em Sunday AM. Hoping you (and your chowdah) are interested in dinner a week from Sunday as the whole crew arrives. No steelhead this year (long story but very poor run on the Columbia) but we'll have something nutritious.

How is your new boat working out??

Peter

Bluefish on the south side. New boat is working out nicely. If a nice day opens up, your more then welcome to do BH and beyond. Sunday June 10th might be a challenge since I am involved in a tournament for the Jimmy fund that day. I will a have to see how the timing works out.
