Extremes

Was on the water both Saturday and Sunday.
Saturday there was a stiff breeze out of the north. The bay had 4-7 ft waves so since the tide was up, I opted to fish up into the marsh. I worked peat banks, channels and around islands. Had a few hits but no fish. Working my way back out similar story but I did manage a hickory shad. Have not caught one of those in years. Sunday morning was dead calm. WOT I headed towards my pots over the flats. Noticed a couple birds diving so stopped to try a few casts. Hit on the first cast a small schoolie on the second. After dealing with the pots I saw no further activity and no hits blind casting.
