After a false start due to a dead battery, I made it out Barnstable. Put out a few lobster traps and then returned to the flats to fish. No breaking fish but small groups of birds clustering in a number of places. A full body paddle tail got some bumps, the slim profile sluggo caught fish. I had a yellow fly already on the rod and since the fish liked it, it stayed on. Caught about a dozen schoolies up to 25" in an hour's time.
If at first you do not succeed-sky diving is not the sport for you.

Good to hear you got the boat in the water. Soon you will be catching keepers and two pound lobsters.
