Is it time to go out east?

Is it time? I'm making a trip out east (Sag Harbor) in a few weeks and was wondering if anyone could steer me in the right direction for some spring striper fishing from shore???. I know of a little estuary by Devon Yacht club. Is that a good place on an out going tide it is very narrow but must shoot out warm water into the bay...Any help would be great!!!!

jpuris Yes. There are many good spots to fish in sag harbor
by late april. The south ferry is a great place to wade.If you are facing the ferry, walk to your right about 200 yards. You will come to a tundal's point. You can fish the rip there on the incomming or outgoing water.
Another good option is to walk onto the ferry for $2 and take it to shelter Island. When you get off the ferry walk
to your left about 150 yards to the end. There is a nice creek. Fish the high outgoing tide. I have cought some nice 28+ inch fish there. Those spots are great starting points. Good luck and tight lines.

Just wondering....When you say creek....do you mean in the creek or on an out going tide where it empties into the bay, sound whatever...Does the warmer water from the creek push out the bait on the out going tide????????
