RI Herring

Anyone help me with herring runs in rhode island? I have been to one in Barrington 3X without results. The closest ones to downtown providence would be great. Thanks guys...

RE: RI Herring

Try Omega Pond in East Providence. To get to it get on Broadway E. Prov. from Massasoit Ave. Follow Broadway to Pawt. Take a left at the first set of lights after Massasoit(can't remember the name of the street-there is a small resturant at the corner. Follow it until you come to a complex of manufacturing buildings set back. Park and walk to the railroad tressel. Scoop them up from the base of the dam.
