sluggos, Quonnie

How do you guys rig sluggos for strippers. Do you use a modified Carolina rig, or a slidder or what? Has fishing slowed that much in South County, RI?

I rig them with on a 5/0 Gamagatsu (spelling?) worm hook. I use weight sometimes through the center of the body. I haven't tried Carolina rigging them, but I have been meaning to.

I use a small jighead - 1/4 to 3/8 oz - and hook through the sluggo "head" then slide the plastic on so the hook comes out and rides underneath about an inch back...the sluggo streams behind like a seaworm...

carolina style, and or on a slider will certainly work for "stripers".

however, for strippers, you may want to attach a $1 bill.:-)
