Another vote for Teton

Dropped my Tioga on the rocks this past season, doing something to the drag knob and pretty much rendering the drag useless (must've jammed something internally). I sent Teton an e-mail requesting service, and they responded that I should mail the reel in and they'd "take care of it." Got the reel back today (one-week turnaround), packaged in a new velvet bag and box. Checked the invoice for any charges and to see what they did--They totally replaced the frame (got the same spool and backing back), at NO CHARGE. For what it's worth, they addressed their warranty at the unconditional level the rod builders are using (though I have no idea how their warranty actually reads), and of course, at a very competitive price. This was above and beyond what I expected for self-inflicted damage to the reel, and I'm very impressed! Another great reason to go for this excellent reel when you're on the fence.
