Pt. Charlotte mid-March

Any suggestions for beach/wading areas in the Port Charlotte area in the middle of March? We've been to Stump Pass and the lighthouse at Boca Grande. We also fished an outlet and beachfront at a gated condo/resort/marina development near Burnt Store. Any suggestions appreciated, seeking snook and reds and probably can't afford a guide this time around.

Do you have a boat? If so there are too many places to mention but there are a lot of fishing reports from that area.

both have weekly reports from tha area as does the Reel time main page.

Dave -- no boat, but we may be renting canoes/kayaks for forays into the creeks and/or a small skiff at the place right before the beach that leads out to Stump Pass (it's on ski alley).
