GLX Mega Taper rods

Has anyone fished these rods? Curiouse about the whole line, but mainly the 6/7 & 10/11. Thank, Eddie

I've always liked the feel of Loomis rods, but seen way too many break to ever consider buying one.

I just had an opportunity to cast the RPLXi that one of my buddies got. What a beautiful rod! I have an RPLX and have always been a fan. I felt that the RPLXi was a little lighter, very slightly less powerful feeling, and had an overall smoothness to it that is not evident in the RPLX.

<P><FONT face=Verdana size=2>Conversly, I tried to cast the RPLXi 11-weight, and thought it was the epitome of a, " Broom handle," rod. I couldn't cast that thing for an hour, I think my arm would fall off. I've cast the eight weight, and in the lighter size, it was a whole different animal, it felt very powerful.</FONT></P>
