mexico licence

Having fished the Yucatan coast many times unguided with great succsess, I have come to find that a valid fishing licence may be required. I do not want to get caught and suffer the consequences. Does anyone know how to obtain a licence for Mexico, around Cancun or Playa del Carmen?

Here's the scoop

To get a Mexican Fishing License, you need to phone the Oficina de Pesca in San Diego, CA. at 619-233-6956. They will FAX you an application that has all the particulars. A one week license is running 23.80 US This price changes all the time so check with them when you call.
