Question Time for another species

This weekend I'm planning on chasing some of them BB Taugs with the yak. I know it isn't flyfishing but I could use a fix and would like to add this species to my yak list... anyone else paint little fish symbols on their yaks like the fighter pilots do for their kills? Anyway, I'm looking for put-ins close to good Taug fishing. Can anyone out there help me out?

Many thanks

SamRiley,

Maybe try in the areas mentioned in the On The Water article last month. If you can walk to the areas I am sure you can get a yak in the water there????

Some well known early season RI spots:

Warren River near American Tourister
Bristol Narrows
Stone Bridge in Tiverton

I've heard about Tautog being caught on crab flies...would like to hear thoughts on that...
