What's better from a yak? 9' or 10' fly rod?

I use a 9.5' rod... Works great for me. As for whats better is persnal preference.... Although a longer rod may work to your advantage....

For me it really doesn't matter. I use a 10' and a 9'6" rod and theres really no difference on the kayak. Because with a kayak you don't need to cast far when you can get within a few feet of the fish and they won't even know your there. Being on a kayak you don't need to cast 50-100ft. But if you do want the distance use shooting heads.

9'6" wt flyrod

I use a 9'6" 9wt and have had no problems fishing for stripers.

Length doesn't seem be an issue..

Good Luck
