Canal report 5,22-23

3 or 4 fat 27" cookie cutter fish per tide on fresh dead, east or west tide, @ Keene St + behind Gallo's...25" on rubber @ Sag. bridge @ dusk.

Wanted to try out new 'Smoothie Drag' washers I put in my Newell 229, but none of these fish had anything for that.

Canal run slow w/ dropbacks...Mashpee chock full I hear.

Left before the 'tourists' invaded <lol>.

Yep Mashpee was chock full as of a week ago or so. However the legal taking season there ends after May 28 (new regulation this year).

Anyone know if Wareham is shut down yet?
