Question Fly rod holder system

Having taken a madien voyage I have the need for a flyrod holder system. I don't want to use a Scottie type holder. I was thinking of a clip system. One that would not interfere with paddle bracing ect. Any ideas. FishHawk

Is this for holding or trolling? I have a holding system that I like and you can check out on June 8th if you are going.

Dunno why you don't want a Scotty fly rod holder...I have one and love mine. Try it, you might like it.

I have a scotty also and love it. Although when I troll I do the between the legs method mostly. With the way my yak is designed I had to mount it behind me portside. Not such a good location when you are trolling. It is not easy to reach around and remove rod from holder with a decent fish on. Also with the fly rod between my legs and extended behind me I don't have to watch the rod tip. I can feel the strike.
